Position: Licensed Practical Nurse LPN (Multiple Shifts Available)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

As an LPN at Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK, you will participate in and direct the delivery of patient care, ensuring the highest quality services within a customer‑service‑friendly environment. You are a key member of our clinical team, supporting our mission to provide superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services tailored to the needs of our patients and residents.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of practice in accordance with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Evaluate staffing patterns with the Director of Nursing to meet resident needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders.
  • Implement and evaluate care plans.
  • Identify and secure equipment supplies.
  • Direct and oversee subordinates.
  • Participate in duty assignments.
  • Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allocations.
  • Oversee and monitor the activities of subordinate staff.
  • Evaluate staff performance and implement appropriate discipline or training.
  • Ensure infection control compliance.
  • Investigate and document accidents and incidents.
Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Previous skilled nursing experience.
  • Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
