Clinic​/ER​/Inpatient - PA​/NP

Job Description

Facility is 3 hours NW of Oklahoma City

We are looking for an PA to cover our clinics with some ER call.

• FT Clinic Role with Rotating ER Call
  • M-F 8a-5p with 3 day weekend every other week
  • Rotating ER call every other month and regular weeknight call
  • ER volume is 50-60 patients per month
• 130-140k/yr depending on experience
• Inhouse services include PT, pulmonary rehab, wound care, sleep study, 64 slice CAT scan, x-ray, pain management
• New Grads are ok!
  • Local physician will take you under his wing and train you to see patients in the clinic and take ER call
  • No ER experience required
• Relocation Assistance provided if needed

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
