Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you’ll do- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; maintain inventory levels and control shrinkage.
- Maintain in‑depth knowledge of meat products, seasonality, equipment usage, and back‑room operations; process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping) ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
- Drive business results; plan for profitability; maintain a work area according to company policies; ensure high‑volume meat products meet quality and standards; minimize waste and secure fragile merchandise; assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Act as a Talent Ambassador; advocate for the department and club; model high‑quality service and products; execute basic tasks at the highest level; interact with associates to understand roadblocks and train them to perform job‑related duties.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans and use the Open Door Policy.
- Prioritize work assignments using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and recommend improvement opportunities.

$19.00 to $27.00 (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage). Additional premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Legal requirement to complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Experience in Meat Processing Area.
