Summary

Guards and monitors company grounds to prevent theft, violence or other loss of company property. Provides full security services including active patrols, situation de-escalation, apprehension, guarding facility entrances or specific locations, escorting patrons, escorting and monitoring drop team and money carts, preparing reports and some administrative functions including: filing, sorting, organizing, phone calls, data entry and report tracking. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency.
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities.
  • Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types.
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment.
  • Maintains and promotes professionalism.
  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics.
  • Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards.
  • Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area.
  • Develops and maintains documentation as appropriate -- files, logs, records, reports, etc.
  • Communicates via radio per division and position protocols.
  • Communicates with other team members, departments, guests and management, sharing general and important information, listening to others, and following divisional, departmental and organizational protocols.
  • Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information.
  • Prepares incident reports.
  • Monitors and ensures the safety of guests, employees and tribal assets based on assigned duty station, which may include:
    • Guarding facility entrances – controlling access and alarming others as necessary.
    • Escorting patrons or guests.
    • Escorting/monitoring drop team and money carts when assigned to gaming facility.
    • Preparing temporary visitor IDs.
    • Responding to security breaches.
    • Executing internal and external patrols of assigned areas and locations.
    • Monitoring opening and closing machines for routine repairs and maintenance when assigned to gaming facility.
  • Follows guidelines to protect guests and employees in emergency situations such as inclement weather, fire, active shooter, etc.
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff, direct supervisor or next level manager.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Skills

Essential:

  • Basic Computer skills.
  • Skilled in operating a computer and/or other equipment related to specific role (i.e. automated currency counters, calculator, projector, binding machine, other related office equipment).

Nonessential:

  • Proficient in use and non-use of firearms.
Experience

Nonessential:

  • 1 year directly related experience.
Education

Essential:

  • High School, GED or Equivalent.
Credentials

Essential:

  • Must be over 18 years old.
  • Pass gaming background check.
  • Pass general background check.
  • Pass Indian Child Welfare background check.
