Painter for Residential or Light Commercial – Lincoln, NE

Handyman Connection of Lincoln, NE is seeking an experienced painter to support our rapidly growing base of satisfied customers. Our locally owned and operated Home Improvement Company is dedicated to excellent customer service and quality work, with a 50%+ repeat/referral customer base.

What You Will Receive

• Earn $20-30/hour or up to $1,000/week, depending on your skills and availability

Responsibilities

• Paint exterior and interior finishes in residential and light commercial settings.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, burning, sanding, sandblasting or other methods.
• Mix, match, and blend paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains and protective coatings; caulk, patch, and plaster holes and cracks.
• Apply color using brush, roller, spray gun or other applicator; prepare wall and hang paper or other wall covering material.
• Determine and identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects.
• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot issues, and present work orders to customers.

Requirements

• Current driver’s license and insurance.
• Own tools, work vehicle, and good references.
• Experience in remodeling or home repair trades.
• Independent contractors must carry liability insurance and workers’ comp.
• Pass screening process, including background check.
• Smartphone with internet access.

We are not hiring project managers or those who primarily specialize in new construction.
