Acuren is currently recruiting for RT Level II Technicians to support our operation in Tulsa, OK. Level II RT Technicians shall be familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being utilized and exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of assistants and Level I Technicians. They must be able to provide current or prior copies of certifications in methods as well as classroom documentation.
They must be willing to travel.
We are currently seeking local candidates based in Tulsa, OK or surrounding area (within approximately a 40-mile radius). While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role. Call-out work requires employees to depart from the Tulsa shop and travel to job sites on short notice.
Responsibilities- Familiarity with the scope and limitations of the NDT methods being utilized
- Exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of assistants and Level I Technicians
- Provide current or prior copies of certifications in methods as well as classroom documentation
- Travel as required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Certified Level II
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
- Knowledge of NDT equipment
- Experience in report writing
- Based in Tulsa, OK or surrounding area (within approximately a 40-mile radius)
- 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training preferred
- Industrial Radiographer State Card preferred/Trainee status a plus
- Valid TWIC card or be able to obtain
- IRRSP card also preferred
