- Receive shipments and verify both the order and the quantities.
- Stock incoming orders and assign bin locations for all new parts on a daily basis.
- Pick parts for counter salesmen.
- Ensure that all returned parts are checked in and a copy of the invoice is given to the appropriate counterperson for review; the parts are then located and put up.
- Help pull, box, label and write up any and all paperwork for all ship‑outs.
- Assist in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory.
- Assist in annual parts returns.
- Keep parts area clean and uncluttered.
- Assist the parts drivers in pulling parts for deliveries.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
- Take orders for pick‑ups or deliveries without hesitation.
- Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
- Unload truck each night, turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts; return cash or check with proper invoice to the cashier office.
- Valid Driver’s License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier.
- Professional communication with customers.
- Ability to operate a vehicle in heavy traffic and drive up to 250 miles per day.
- Courtesy and professionalism while driving and obedience to all traffic laws.
- Ability to work in a fast‑pace environment.
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical DemandsThe job requires the employee to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
