Core Responsibilities- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service, exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, learning and addressing them by name whenever possible.
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out‑of‑reach items, loading/unloading heavy items, noting and passing along customer suggestions or requests.
- Answer the telephone promptly, providing friendly, helpful service to callers.
- Upon gathering orders, place them in storage at proper temperature and promptly retrieve them prior to customer arrival.
- Maintain proper temperature throughout the process and place orders in holding area for pick‑up.
- Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles or homes, delivering products safely, timely and efficiently.
- Follow all traffic laws and validate customer age for alcohol orders.
- Collect payment, make change when necessary, and return payments and beginning cash to store.
- Adhere to company policies and individual store guidelines, reporting to work as scheduled and on time.
- Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
- Render customer orders through POS and charge the customer’s credit card.
- Facilitate the maintenance and upkeep of delivery vehicles.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical RequirementsVisual requirements: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
Must perform medium work, occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 50 pounds, frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying objects of no more than 25 pounds.
Must perform stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Must enter and exit a delivery vehicle many times a day, traverse staircases and other rough terrain to reach delivery destinations.
Working ConditionsContinual exposure to dust, noise, temperature extremes, dampness, vibrations, and equipment movement hazard. Significant work pace and pressure to deliver products timely.

Must possess a valid driver’s license, with no DOT restrictions, and be 21 years or older.
Financial ResponsibilityResponsible for payments received for delivery of products when applicable.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen.
