Inside Sales Representative (Full Time), Norridge, IL

IDN Global, Inc. is a leading distributor of security hardware, access control systems, video surveillance equipment, doors & frames, locksmithing tools, and related security products seeking a full-time employee for an Inside Sales position to support the entire Chicago area, including Joliet, Waukegan, Naperville, Schaumburg, Shorewood, and Rockford.
Based in Norridge, Illinois, located near O'Hare Airport and Schiller Park, the individual in this position is responsible for providing superior service for customers and staff throughout the Midwest placing customer orders, helping with returns, and supporting customers at our will‑call/pick‑up counter.

Responsibilities include the following:
- Interact with existing and potential customers by phone, email, or in-person for counter transactions
- Quote processing and follow‑up with the customer
- Order processing and related customer assistance. In addition to handling stock orders, this includes processing special orders, presenting promotions, handling customer returns, and related tasks.
- Follow‑up on New Customer leads & Outside Sales Representatives to assist in growing the local business
- Manufacturer/vendor contact for factory order lead‑times, purchase order status & product information
- This individual should excel in a team‑oriented work environment — working with the Norridge and remote branch staff to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and providing contributions that support customer retention goals and company/branch growth objectives.
Key Working Relationships:
The successful candidate will report to the Inside Sales Supervisor in Norridge, IL. The individual will work closely with other staff members and with the various Outside Sales representatives.
Requirements:
- Must be self‑driven & hardworking
- 1-3 Years of related inside sales experience
- Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to work well with a Team to achieve common goals
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus

- Pay Range: $19 - $21 per hour
