Special Education Learning Support Teachers
Two vacancies exist for a Special Education Learning Support Teachers at Eisenhower Middle School for the school year.
* Sign On Bonus - one time (In addition to Salary): $3,000
* Special Education additional Stipend: $1,000
Qualifications:
- PA Special Education Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Education
- Experience working with special education students preferred
- FBI, PA Criminal Background and Child Abuse clearances
- Bilingual in Spanish Preferred
Duties & Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains IEP compliance.
- Maintains accurate data on students daily progress
- Maintains poise and composure.
- Conducts FBAs and implement PBSPs.
- Maintains professional attitude.
- Communicates with parents about students' progress.
- Demonstrates appropriate language.
- Demonstrates a willingness to cooperate toward District goals.
- Evidences planning which reflects objectives, diverse learners, and activities.
- Keeps abreast of subject and special practices.
- Provides appropriate instructional material to meet the students' needs.
- Demonstrates the ability to organize for instruction.
- Encourages students with appropriate reinforcement.
- Provides an educational atmosphere consistent with instructional goals.
- Provides for individual student differences.
- Utilizes appropriate teaching and behavior modification strategies.
Schedule:
Monday
- Friday
7.5 hrs/day
Salary Schedule:
Experience calculated per contract agreement not to exceed step 10
Bachelor's - $62,663- $78,539 (step 10)
Bachelor's + 24 - $67,760- $87,165 (step 10)
Master's - $72,133- $95,070 (step 10)
Master's + 15 - $75,276- $99,400 (step 10)
Master's + 30 - $78,419- $103,698 (step 10)
Master's + 45 - $78,944- $104,289 (step 10)
Doctorate/Master's + 60 - $79,469- $104,848 (step 10)
