Pre-K Counts Teachers
Vacancies exist for Pre-K Counts Teachers to work at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in the Office of Early Childhood Services. This full-time position provides instruction to children ages 3-5 years old.
Qualifications:
- Valid PA Certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) required
- Knowledge of best practices and experience with differentiation
- Ability to work with and relate to young children and families of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work in harmony with administrative, instructional, and non-instructional personnel
- Experience in an early childhood setting preferred
- Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint Clearances required
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement the curriculum
- Provide a safe and secure classroom environment that meets the needs of all participating children in the program
Location:
The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit PreK Counts program has classrooms located throughout Montgomery County, PA. Vacancies are located at:
- Rydal West Elementary School (1231 Meetinghouse Rd. Rydal, PA)
- Bridle Path Elementary (22
E. Bridle Path Rd. Lansdale, PA)
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months (194 days/year)
Salary:
Bachelor's/Instructional I: $45,449/year
Master's/Instructional II: $48,509/year
