Special Education Paraprofessional
Three vacancies exist for Special Education Paraprofessionals within the Norristown Area School District at Norristown Area High School for the .
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or 48 Postsecondary Credits
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of community resources and agencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish Preferred
Duties:
- Provides instructional support to students
- Supports and assists students with the completion of assigned tasks either individually or in small groups
- Implements students' behavior plans
- Collects data
- Applies therapeutic aggression control techniques
- Performs related duties as required
Hourly Rate, :
$22.45- $29.38 (based on education and experience)
