Licensed Practical Nurse Or Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to work one-on-one with our pediatric client, in home setting, in the Norristown, PA area. The available shifts are weekend and weekends available!

Additional clients in surrounding area and full-time or part-time available!

Skilled Nurse Job Responsibilities

• Must be a caring and reliable individual who has the ability to work in a diverse atmosphere
• Assess patient's need for safety measures and appropriate interventions.
• Implementation of the Nursing Care Plan as outlined by the Primary Nurse.
• Implementation of medication changes according to verbal and/or written physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Accurately observe and promptly report changes in the patient's physical or mental status to the Nursing supervisor.
• Accurately record nursing observations, activities, and treatments on the appropriate forms.
• Ability to follow a physician's plan of care under the supervision of our Director of Nursing
• Communicate with family members, in office staff and all supporting health professionals

Requirements for Employment

• Current Pennsylvania skilled nursing license
• Current CPR
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Must pass state and federal criminal background checks
• Must have up-to-date physical and two-step PPD or chest x-ray
• Must be able to pass skilled nursing pre-employment test
• Form of transportation to client's residence
