** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and relaying information to the appropriate contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by site.

+ Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing for unusual behavior, and/or reporting security-related concerns in accordance with site protocols.

+ Support protection of technology infrastructure and other sensitive assets by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and/or assisting with incident response and escalation procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possess an Act 235 qualification for Pennsylvania only.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
