HVAC / Sheet Metal Apprentice Installer

Norristown, PA (Field-Based Role) | Pay Range: $18–$25/hour + Overtime | Full-Time

At Commercial Kitchen Ventilation, we install commercial HVAC and kitchen ventilation systems that have to work under inspection, under deadline, and under real-world use.

This is commercial construction work. Active job sites. Long days.

You'll work on rooftops, ladders, lifts, and unfinished buildings across the region. Some days go sideways and need to be figured out in the field.

Small crew. Fast pace. It becomes obvious quickly who contributes and who doesn't.

We're hiring apprentice and level 1 installers to join our field team.

You'll work alongside experienced mechanics and foremen installing commercial kitchen hoods, duct systems, exhaust fans, and related HVAC equipment.

You won't spend six months standing around watching. You'll be expected to learn fast, stay moving, and contribute early.

This is a production environment. Jobs have deadlines and crews are expected to keep pace.

Some days run short. Some run long. The job dictates the schedule.

What You'll Get

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to handle physical work and long days
• Shows up consistently and finishes what they start
• Can take direction, adjust, and keep moving

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This is active field work involving lifting, climbing, carrying material, overhead work, weather exposure, and unfinished job site conditions.

This work isn't for everyone. The pace is demanding and the expectations are real.
