Bus​/Van Monitor

Pertinent information:
Will monitor and support students (General and Special Education) during the school bus ride to and from their respective schools. The hours per day vary, the days per week are 5 when school is in session.

Job Goal:
To provide a safe student transportation experience.

Supervision:
Reports to the Building Principal and the Director of Student Support Services.

• Maintains orderly student conduct while waiting for the bus, entering the bus, and exiting the bus.
• Maintains an orderly and safe transportation environment, and reports any student misconduct to the bus driver and Building Principal.
• Participates in training as needed.
• Attends related workshops and meetings as requested.
• Assists with the supervision of students during emergency bus drills.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by Administration.
