Magic Seasons Preschool and School Age Program is seeking a dedicated and experienced Temporary Program Director to lead our child care center in Adams, MA during a transitional period. This full-time position is expected to last 3 6 months and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our program, children, families, and staff.

For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to join our team permanently in a different leadership, teaching, or administrative role at the conclusion of the temporary assignment, based on organizational needs and mutual interest.

• Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring compliance with Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) regulations and licensing requirements.
• Support and guide teaching staff while maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Ensure the implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that promote children s learning and growth.
• Foster positive relationships with families through open communication and responsive support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
• Monitor program resources, supplies, and operational needs.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality assurance standards.
• Help maintain continuity and stability while supporting the organization s long-term goals.
