The Athletic Communications/Sports Information student employee will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Communications Department including all event/game day/contest support, all athletic department promotional efforts as well as statistical and information management.
Specific responsibilities may include scoreboard/game clock operation, scorebook keeping, public address announcing, venue/equipment set-up and breakdown, live statistical inputting, video camera operation, live stream directing, photography, gameday supervisory duties; social media, video, and website content creation and maintenance as well as general office and or remote tasks as assigned.
Requirements:- Must have general knowledge of or be willing to learn about and work with the MCLA's athletics programs.
- Must have general knowledge of or be willing to learn the various facets of athletic communications.
- Must have the ability to perform one or more of the specific responsibilities listed.
- Must have flexible work hours available.
- Must be willing to work some nights and weekends.
- Must be reliable and able to work independently.
This position is only open to current MCLA students.
