Job Description:
  • Serve as an Office Assistant for the Student Engagement Office.
  • Provide support as a front-end customer service representative.
  • Daily office function support: filing, answering phones, copying and other office duties.
  • May be assigned special projects throughout the year.
  • Replace postings on bulletin boards throughout campus.
  • Create flyers and posters as needed.
  • Deliver important information to departments across campus.
  • Communicate with various departments on campus and off campus contractors/vendors.
  • Support the office in commuter student initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and other layout and design programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Ability to work with structure and also independently.
  • May include some nights and weekends.

This position is open only to students currently enrolled at MCLAwho have been awarded federal work study.
