- Help plan, organize, promote, and implement Academic Advising & Support programs, events,workshops, and trainings.
- Create social media posts, newsletters, and flyers to connect students with information and resources.
- Complete necessary office tasks including but not limited to mailings, flyers, outreach messages,
- Navigate
360 marketing, data entry, special projects, bulletin boards, and other space needs. - Able to work shifts and run information tables in the Academic Advising & Support office, Campus Center, and academic buildings.
- Able to attend weekly Academic Advising & Support staff meetings as needed.
- Able to work hours during the day, with occasional evenings and weekends, to assist with Academic Advising & Support needs.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Commitment to protecting the privacy of student information and other sensitive information adhering to FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act).
- Proficient at or willing to learn Microsoft Office Programs, social media platforms, and Canva.
- Works well both in a team environment and as an individual.
- Strong interpersonal skills (written and oral communication skills).
- Willing to learn how to create programming and educational resources that best fit student needs.
