Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

North Adams, MA

Contract | Days | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to dysrhythmias
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and disposition
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner

• Active Massachusetts RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification (must be in hand at submission)
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification (must be in hand at submission)
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification (must be in hand at submission)
• Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (must be in hand at submission)

• Completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course (strongly preferred)
• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system
• Supervisory experience in an Emergency Room setting
