Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule:

12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and/or 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM; availability for either shift required. Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed

Requirements:

• 2 years current Emergency Department experience
• Massachusetts RN License
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion
• Experience with Meditech Expanse (strongly preferred)
• Must have own vehicle

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals within the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient needs and devise individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and wellness strategies.

Compliance / Notes:

• Personal scrubs of any color required.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation.
• Requests for time off must be included at the time of submission; no more than 5 days will be accepted.
