American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with circulating and endoscopy experience for a 13-week teaching hospital assignment in North Adams, MA.
Requirements- Active MA RN license required in hand at time of profile upload; compact licenses not accepted
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 3 years of current OR circulating experience required
- Endoscopy experience required
- Experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric surgical specialties required
- Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
- Must have reliable personal transportation
- Skills checklist for OR/Circulate current within 1 year required
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
- Operating Room unit within a teaching hospital setting
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Float and precept to both the main hospital and an affiliated surgery center as needed
- No weekend requirements, though holiday coverage may be required if needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Precepting responsibilities included as part of role
- Facility provides scrubs
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
- All scheduling requests must be finalized prior to submission, as accommodations after offer will not be approved
- Traveler must not prefer block scheduling or 10/12-hour shift accommodations
