American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and multiple life support certifications.
Requirements- Active MA RN license required in hand prior to consideration, compact license not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience required
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC
- Candidate must have their own vehicle for this assignment
- Skills checklist and supervisory reference specific to Emergency Room experience required, current within 1 year
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department within a full-service medical center offering a wide range of specialties
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Every other weekend required and holidays as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Provide emergency nursing care within a 298-bed teaching hospital recognized for patient safety excellence
- Must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled, including Thanksgiving Day through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through the following weekend
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted for the duration of the assignment
- Personal scrubs of any color permitted per dress code
- Includes 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
