Supervisor of Planning, Research and Evaluation Supervisor Cert. Req

Supervisor Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 based on certifications, degree, and experience. Entitled to benefits consistent with NASA contract.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate area of concentration;
  • Valid New Jersey Supervisor Certificate;
  • Have at least five (5) years of successful experience as a teacher in a school setting (Standard Teaching Certificate);
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in the areas of planning, research and evaluation of data to support best instructional practices through differentiation and through the use of technology;
  • Successful completion of criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status;
  • Successful completion of physical examination; and
  • Meet such alternatives to the above qualifications, as the Superintendent may deem appropriate, acceptable and legal.
REPORTS TO:

Director of Curriculum & Instruction JOB GOAL:

The Supervisor of Planning, Research and Evaluation shall be responsible for planning, evaluating and managing comprehensive research and development programs in support of the instructional and other programs within North Arlington School District; coordinates the distribution and interpretation of school accountability reports; organizes and coordinates research activities in the district; compiles data and creates reports; data management and oversight as well as providing ongoing feedback and coaching to further their professional development throughout the school district.

S/he will provide strategic, data-driven problem-solving support to organizational leadership while providing consultation to school leadership.

The primary work of the supervisor will ensure a high level of instructional leadership to create systems, structures, processes and procedures to eliminate gaps in student learning and through equity practices.

Establish organizational systems and assessments to provide timely and helpful data to district leaders, school leaders, and families to measure and ensure all students are future ready.

The Supervisor will lead the school community towards a shared vision and a common understanding of the value of available data.

Creating a continuous process for analyzing and interpreting and acting upon data through a developed and unified protocol is a major responsibility of the supervisor.

The supervisor will provide applicable data to help inform decisions, goals, and budgeting for IEP/504, G&T, at risk and ELL students.
