Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final weld inspections in accordance with applicable codes and specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications
• Develop detailed weld maps using internal layouts and customer-supplied drawings
• Generate comprehensive weld inspection reports including:
  Itemized weld joints and seams, Material and filler certifications, Welder certifications and activity reports
• WPS and PQR documentation
• Inspection dates and third-party test reports and Stud test reports
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, including AWS and ASME standards
• Maintain detailed, accurate records in support of internal audits and customer requirements

Qualifications

• CWI Certification (AWS QC1 required)
• Familiarity with relevant codes: AWS D1.1, D1.6, B2.1, A2.4, ASME Section IX, AGS-G006
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm

The pay is up to $45.00 an hour based on experience
