Position

Special Education Teacher – Moderate/Severe Disabilities – Full‑time 2026‑2027 School Year – Community Elementary School

• Responsible for curriculum planning and implementation of IEPs.
• Collaborate and coordinate with administrators, educators, and instructional assistants.
• Co‑treat and provide services to students with the school counselor, therapists and other educators.
• Serve as liaison with families and providers and provide educational services to students in partnership with other students.

• Massachusetts DESE state certification – Special Education Teacher.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and the IEP team meeting process.
• Current Massachusetts license required.

As per NAFT Teachers Local 4292 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
