Wastewater Plant Operations Leader; Assistant Chief

FULL-TIME (38 HOURS PER WEEK)

SALARY RANGE: $1,386.04 TO $1,918.63 PER WEEK

The Town of North Attleboro Department of Public Works, Sewer Division is seeking an Assistant Chief Plant Operator. Skilled technical, supervisory and maintenance work assisting in the daily operation and testing of the wastewater treatment facility; ensures compliance with operation, maintenance and reporting processes. Assists the Chief Plant Operator with the operations of the plant and all other plant related issues.

Acts as the employee in charge of the plant in the absence of the Chief Operator.

Associates degree with five years of experience in wastewater treatment operations and maintenance at a Grade VII plant operator level; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Massachusetts Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator’s license, Grade
7. Must possess a valid MA driver’s license.
