Job Title:
Interventional Device Development Engineer Location - North Attleboro, MA Duration:
Full Time Responsibilities
- Design and develop interventional medical devices from concept to commercialization.
- Design and optimize catheters, guide wires, and related technologies.
- Develop manufacturing processes including reflow, bonding, extrusion, tipping, and precision assembly.
- Build prototypes and perform engineering analysis, testing, DOE, verification, and validation.
- Conduct FMEA, risk assessments, root cause analysis, and design reviews.
- Apply DFM principles and optimize product/process designs.
- Prepare technical documentation including DHF, drawings, BOMs, test protocols, and reports.
- Support design transfer, manufacturing scale-up, supplier development, and commercialization.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, regulatory, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with medical device quality and regulatory requirements
