Assembly Technician

We’re looking for an experienced Cable & Wire Harness professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys bridging the gap between Manufacturing Engineering and Production. This role plays a key part in supporting daily production, building prototypes and first-time assemblies, and helping launch new product lines from concept to reality.

• Assemble and wire cable harnesses using schematics and detailed technical specifications
• Serve as a key liaison between Manufacturing Engineering and Production to ensure smooth workflow and communication
• Build prototypes and support initial production runs for new products
• Create and update clear, accurate cable and wire harness assembly work instructions
• Operate semi-automatic equipment such as wire/cable cutting machines, crimp presses, wire twisters, and strippers
• Perform functional and continuity testing using test fixtures
• Solder wires, terminals, electromechanical devices, and electronic components
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure high-quality finished products
• Assist in sourcing wires, connectors, terminals, and tooling to support production needs

• 5–10 years of hands-on cable/wire harness manufacturing experience
• IPC-620 knowledge and certification (required)
• Proven ability to write and document assembly processes clearly and accurately
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid production and assembly background
• Comfortable with basic math and measurement
• Clear communicator with a team-first, positive attitude

• Extensive experience with cable/wire harness tooling and specialized machinery
• Experience sourcing electrical components and production tools
