Afterschool Counselor-North Augusta

Prime-Time/After school Counselor (Part-Time) Pay: $9-$12/hour

Do you love working with kids, bringing energy to every room, and making a difference after the school bell rings? Join our After school team at the Y, where every afternoon is a chance to lead, laugh, and learn!

What You'll Be Doing:

* Running fun, enriching after-school activities kids actually look forward to

* Ensuring a safe and supportive space for every child

* Serving up snacks and smiles

* Communicating with families and school staff like a pro

* Jumping in to help keep the space tidy and ready for play

* Being a positive role model and go-to grown-up for our awesome participants

What You Bring:

* 18+ with a high school diploma or GED

* A heart for kids and a head for responsibility

* Strong communication skills and good judgment

* CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified withing 45 days

* Willingness to learn YMCA curriculum (we'll train you!)

* Ability to lead 30+ minutes of active play, because we move!

* Reliable transportation

Experience in youth programs or early education is a plus!
