Job Description
Needed immediately: A Process Engineer / R&D Engineer in North Augusta, SC. Candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing and with proven problem-solving and analytical skills, willing to lead the company’s Continuous Improvement Program.
Experience with tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Six-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing are preferred.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is a plus,but not mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years' experience
- Proven experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works) a plus
- Hands-on experience with sewing and RF heat sealing technologies, a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and review KPI trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize process efficiencies and material flow, and reduce waste.
- Update, develop and document Standard Work for new and existing processes to enhance product quality and OEE. Set up and maintain a robust archive system for production-related documents using a Document Control system
- Identify and log opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs to improve profitability
- Lead the company’s CI Program as coach and implementor
- New Projects:
- Support the production of prototypes for new projects and assist with pre-production planning activities prior to launch of production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the production process.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with, and form, cross-functional teams, to drive operational improvements
- Develop a reporting system to track improvements and to support EOS KPI’s
- Deploy strong organizing & planning skills to maximize cross-functional effectiveness
