Overview

Position: Behavior Technician.
Location: North Aurora, IL.
Schedule: Part Time Monday - Friday (hours vary) (1-2 evenings per week).
Compensation: $19.00- $22.00/hr (pending experience).

Rush Kids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary pediatric team. In this role, you’ll work 1:1 with children who have an Autism diagnosis, implementing applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs under the direction and supervision of a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Training is provided. Come play a part in supporting our pediatric patients as they learn new skills and achieve their goals.

• Implement ABA programs under the direction and supervision of a BCBA, working 1:1 with children who have an Autism diagnosis.
• Collect, record and document data based on observable client behavior and communicate progress to parents and team members.
• Work 1:1 with children in their home and in our center.
• Support specialized programs and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed by a BCBA.
• Maintain a safe, engaging environment and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

• High school diploma/GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Willingness to pursue or contribute toward RBT and/or Master’s in ABA (as encouraged).
