Lead Supply Chain Technician

Looking for a self‑motivated individual who can assist the Distribution Manager with day‑to‑day operations and respond to emails for the Sunbury shipping group to keep lines of communication open between Distribution and sales. Maintaining good records and tracking product accountability on a daily basis will be primary responsibilities.

  • Competitive starting pay $28.20/hr. and full benefits offered:

  • Shift: 3rd Shift openings, 6:00 pm start.
What You Can Expect:
  • Work with IT and CFAR teams to ensure D2D transfers are done correctly and are executed properly.
  • Check BUSS for errors when D2D and permanent transfers are made or when product’s source chain is not mapped correctly and coordinate with the Business Unit Support team to correct the issues.
  • Ensure that manual transfers (emergency transfers/outside of BUSS) affecting Sunbury, Northumberland and Moran’s service area are executed correctly by all bakeries and Co‑Packers involved, coordinating with bakeries to ensure that product is produced, shipped, and transported on time to meet market drop‑dead times.
  • Coordinate with Co‑Packers and Plants to ensure orders are being filled correctly and request additional product or givebacks as needed.
  • Place stuffing/cube orders with our current co‑packer Lacrosse bakery and enter deliveries into the system upon arrival.
  • Track Basket and Dolly Flow into the DC as well as consolidate Basket Dolly inventories and enter into system.
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership to ensure Hot Requests are being completed and shipped to the correct locations.
  • Responsible for allocating pre‑code inventory.
  • Check Distribution Reports versus CSL for all depots to find discrepancies and errors, follow up with manager and supervisors on discrepancies.
  • Be a liaison to Sales, respond to CSL reports and communicate cuts/givebacks to Sales. Coordinate with all depots to ensure accurate customer order fill and tracking.
  • Responsible for running daily 174 accountability reports.
  • Responsible for printing various reports and documents necessary for daily shipping functions.
  • Startup Distribution on downdays and fill out tracking report.
  • Responsible for entering adjustments and printing Store Door invoices.
  • Communicate with depots and DCs on pre–ship product on a daily basis.
  • Assist the Supervisors and Distribution Manager with informational spreadsheets, worksheets and queries that may be needed.
  • Responsible for generating trailer cubing reports and communicating trailer schedules to domiciled carrier.
  • Enter arrival and departures into TTS screens on downdays.
What We Need From You:
  • 1–3 years of shipping or warehouse experience (preferred).
  • Must possess basic computer skills;
    Microsoft Office a plus.
