Maintenance Operator, 2nd Shift – North Aurora, IL

• Develop and execute machine preventative maintenance schedules, including predictive maintenance on all types of CNC, injection molding, fabrication, welding, assembly, testing, HVAC, and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC problems on machinery and equipment to determine required repairs or replacement of worn or defective parts.
• Establish and document a troubleshooting process based on findings.
• Perform repairs and/or fabrications on CNC, injection molding, fabrication, welding, assembly, testing, HVAC, and facility equipment.
• Determine root cause of maintenance issues and suggest, execute, and document necessary improvements.
• Root cause analysis training is a plus.
• Work from prints, schematics, drawings and sketches, including electrical, hydraulic, air, plumbing and structural.
• Work with the CMMS system to manage maintenance work order requests, preventive maintenance plans, and order replacement parts and materials to maintain inventory.

• Ability to diagnose and fix CNC mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and control issues. CNC repair knowledge is REQUIRED.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical prints/schematics.
• Experience identifying failure causes and recommending improvements.
• Experience managing work orders, preventive maintenance plans, and parts inventory (CMMS).
• Experience with CNC, injection molding, fabrication, welding, assembly, testing, HVAC, and facility systems.
• Must be comfortable with heights.

Standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights up to 40 lbs. Steel‑toed footwear is required.

The hourly pay for this role is $35.07 per hour, plus $0.45 shift differential while working on the 2nd shift. Opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and training. Pay may vary based on achievements, skills, and experience.

2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Training on 1st shift for 4–6 months (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.). Overtime as needed.
