Gerald Kia of North Aurora is hiring Military Veterans for the Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP). Participants will gain hands-on experience while completing a one-year competency-based apprenticeship company. The program is GI Bill approved, allowing eligible Veterans to receive housing allowance during training. Candidates must have an honorable discharge, a valid driver’s license, and mechanical experience. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, maintaining communications with service advisors, and ensuring a safe work environment.
