Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift

Position Summary

Ryder is hiring a Forklift Operator in North Aurora, Illinois. This role offers weekly pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career growth.

• Hourly Pay: $19.00 per hour
• Shift Differential: $0.75 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accurate picking and packing, audit tote induction, and stage products for loading and unloading of trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License (certified).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record.
• Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Physical capability to lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Complies with health and safety methods and is available for flexible scheduling.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
