Warehouse Forklift Operator – Ryder – North Aurora, IL

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full‑Time Warehouse Forklift Operator for the Second Shift (Monday‑Friday, 3:30PM‑12:00AM) at North Aurora, IL.

• Hourly pay: $19.00
• Overtime pay: $28.50
• Shift pay: $0.75 per hour

Products handled:
Food products and general materials.
Equipment:
Stand‑up forklift and high‑reach forklift.

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• One year or more related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience, preferred
• Valid forklift operator license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Team‑player and able to work in a diverse work environment
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Good attendance record and punctuality
• Demonstrates high initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Can lift or push/pull up to 35lbs; stand for long periods
• Follows health and safety procedures
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned
