Permanent Substitute Teacher
Location: Robert Moses Middle School, North Babylon, NY

Position Type: Full-Time, 10-Month Position
Robert Moses Middle School in the North Babylon Union Free School District is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic Permanent Substitute Teacher for the school year. This is a full-time position where the successful candidate will report daily to the building and provide instructional support as needed across various subject areas and grade levels.
Responsibilities include:- Providing coverage for classroom teachers during absences.
- Implementing lesson plans left by teachers or delivering prepared instructional materials.
- Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Assisting with supervision duties throughout the school day (hallways, cafeteria, arrival/dismissal, etc.).
- Being flexible and ready to work in a variety of classrooms and with different student needs.
- Valid New York State Teaching Certification (any content area).
- Prior classroom experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments quickly and effectively.
- A commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment for all students.
