Where You Will Work: North Bend Branch, 2470 Tremont St., North Bend, OR 97459 (Branches)

Pay Range: Target hourly pay range for this position is $18.70 - $21.25. Full hourly pay range is $17.00 - $25.50.

  • Additional $2.00 per hour bilingual differential for employees who can support members' financial needs effectively in a second language, subject to verification of strong grasp of financial terms.
  • Compensation determined based on job‑related skills, experience, and education or training. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

What You’ll Do:

  • Welcome and engage members, greeting all visitors warmly, managing branch traffic to ensure minimal wait times and a positive member experience, while remaining attentive to relationship‑building cues for consultative sales conversations.
  • Promote credit union products and services by proactively identifying, referring, and originating offerings to meet member needs, strengthening financial relationships and meeting or exceeding assigned referral sales targets.
  • Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments while maintaining complete transaction records and uncovering needs for value‑aligned solutions.
  • Resolve member inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring timely follow‑up and identifying opportunities to transition service moments into sales opportunities.
  • Make outbound calls to members/customers to support outreach initiatives, relationship building, and organizational goals.
  • Perform specialized financial functions, complete wire transfers and other complex transactions while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Balance cash drawer, assist with vault balancing, dispenser maintenance, certifications, key assignments, and cash orders under management oversight.
  • Record detailed notes on member interactions, complex situations, and transactions to ensure clear communication and support sales growth.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and continuous learning by taking initiative to learn new systems and policies, complete required training, and maintain a professional image.
  • Support branch and organizational operations, provide staffing support across locations, and perform other duties as assigned to ensure operational excellence and growth objectives.

When You’ll Be Working: Monday‑Friday 8:45 am – 5:45 pm and rotating Saturdays 9:15 am – 1:45 pm. Part‑Time 31 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience interacting with customers and handling cash, or an equivalent combination of work experience.

  • Bilingual skills, consultative sales skills to uncover member needs, make tailored recommendations, and build lasting financial relationships.

Total Rewards: Employees and eligible family members have access to benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, and a 100 % paid option for medical, dental and vision coverage for the employee only. Part‑time employees accrue paid time off on the same schedule as full‑time employees, prorated to their FTE. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays, one floating holiday, 16 hours of self‑care time, and 16 hours of volunteer time (prorated based on hire date).

All benefits except 401(k) begin the first of the month after 30 days of employment; 401(k) contribution eligibility follows the first of the month after 60 days.
