Responsible for the successful and consistent daily operations of the Hotel Front Desk and Door Greeters by leading a warm, welcoming, and guest-focused department culture in support of the Front Office Manager. This role helps create the friendly energy guests feel the moment they arrive, shaping a team environment where employees feel supported, motivated, and excited to deliver exceptional hospitality every day.
Whatyou bring to the table
- Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
- Assists in thoughtfully delegating daily tasks to Front Desk and Door Greeter team members to support smooth and welcoming operations.
- Directs workflow and oversees day-to-day operational needs with a calm, guest-focused approach.
- Offers recommendations to management regarding employee development, training opportunities, and corrective actions that nurture a positive work culture.
- Stays current on marketing events, room rates, and room availability to ensure guests receive accurate and helpful information.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of credit policies and emergency procedures to support guest and team safety.
- Resolves guest concerns with warmth and professionalism or elevates them to hotel leadership when appropriate, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for.
- Assists in the ongoing training, development, and coaching of Front Desk and Door Greeter staff to strengthen team confidence and hospitality excellence.
- Prepares for and participates in panel interviews, training programs, management meetings, and other assigned projects or committees with an enthusiastic, team-oriented spirit.
- Supports departmental budget goals by using established wage management practices and adjusting staffing with sensitivity to business needs.
- Ensures management directives and guest special requests are accurately documented in the Property Management System so all departments can create a seamless arrival experience.
- Actively promotes the hotel's core values-Honesty, Personal Integrity, and Team Before Self-along with the resort's vision of a progressive, friendly, and fun work environment.
- Maintains availability to work during major events, holidays, and functions to support exceptional guest service during peak times.
- Safeguards the security and confidentiality of files, records, and sensitive information.
- Upholds the highest standards of courtesy, professionalism, and discretion when communicating with or about preferred guests, including matters relating to their arrangements and accounts.
- Creates and manages weekly departmental schedules for Front Desk and Door Greeter team members with fairness and operational awareness.
- Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

You’ll need to be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings when we are busy. During your shift, you’ll stand for extended periods, and frequently walk, and use your hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Occasionally sit. Work in an environmental condition including but not limited to; weather, noise and airborne particles. Periodically push, pull and lift up to 20 pounds.
It's important to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure, especially when dealing with stressful situations or upset people. Just a heads-up-the casino environment may expose you to secondhand smoke.

- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Front desk and reservations training or previous experience preferred.
- Computer experience essential, including all windows applications. Prefer individual that is proficient in Micros Property Management software.
- Good organization and administration skills required.
- Fluent within data base programs preferred.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to work without supervision, to organize and track multiple projects with large amounts of detail…
