Our client, an award‑recognized technology organization operating in a highly regulated environment, is seeking a Sr Staff Accountant to support full‑cycle accounting, process documentation, and system implementation efforts. This role is ideal for a hands‑on senior accountant who thrives in detail‑oriented work, asks the right questions, and can operate independently without hand holding.

As a Sr Staff Accountant
, you will play a critical role in strengthening accounting processes, supporting system transitions, and ensuring data integrity across financial and payroll‑related workflows. You will partner cross‑functionally to document, test, and validate procedures while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality. • Draft, review, and test detailed process and SOP documentation to validate procedures and internal controls.
• Perform full‑cycle accounting, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
• Support software implementation and integration efforts by assisting with data mapping, testing, and validation.
• Build basic analysis and reporting and assist with payroll and procedural integration testing.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• Senior‑level accounting experience with the ability to work independently; strong background in journal entries, reconciliations, and detailed process documentation.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, standard lookup functions) and strong critical‑thinking skills with high standards for confidentiality.
