Position: Patient Care Technician - Intermediate Care - Per Diem Day

Provides patient care based on criteria appropriate to the age of patients served on the unit;
Maintains effective communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health care team regarding patient status;
Participates in interdisciplinary collaboration of patient plan of care from admission to discharge;
Participates in Unit/Department Performance Improvement activities;
Performs and documents clinical tasks such as data collection, specimen handling, EKG, and ensuring equipment readiness
