We’re seeking a mid-level Plant Electromechanical Maintenance Technician with strong electrical diagnostics and solid mechanical know-how. You will be a key partner to production, ensuring minimal downtime in a fast-moving bakery environment.
A Day in the Life Start with preventive maintenance so lines are ready before the first batch rolls.
Respond quickly to an unexpected stoppage—trace a fault from sensor to relay to motor controller and get the system back online.
Collaborate with production to schedule PMs, reduce bottlenecks, and document work orders and parts used.
End the shift with a clean, OSHA-compliant workspace and notes for the next tech.
What You’ll Work OnBakery and production systems: motors, conveyors, belts, and drive assemblies
Electrical components: relays, sensors, contractors, control panels, VFDsPneumatic and hydraulic circuits
Packaging machines and related automation
Refrigeration/cooling systems
Roll forming and rotational molding equipment, shapersPLC environments (Siemens—troubleshooting exposure a plus)
Core Responsibilities Execute scheduled preventive maintenance across bakery and production equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Troubleshoot electrical systems (motors, relays, sensors, control panels).Assist in diagnosing PLC-related problems (preferred, not required).Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs when equipment fails.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and work orders.
Maintain a clean, safe work area consistent with OSHA guidelines.
Partner with production teams to minimize downtime and prioritize repairs.
Help manage parts inventory and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Support small facility and equipment improvement projects.
What You Bring3–5 years of industrial maintenance or mechanical experience.
Demonstrated strength in electrical troubleshooting (required).Hands-on experience with motors, conveyors, belts, and drive systems.
Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus (Siemens familiarity helpful).Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment issues.
Basic computer skills for email, work orders, and maintenance tracking.
Experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus.
