The Registered Nurse in Same Day Surgery/Endo provides direct care to a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. • Location: North Bergen, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
• Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions.
• Communicate and coordinate the plan of care with the healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease-specific care in a timely manner.
• Provide or coordinate patient/family education as needed.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
• Identify ethical issues and enhance patient satisfaction.

• Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Experience: Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.
