Freelance Apparel Quality Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Aggregate product quality data from diverse internal and external platforms.
• Analyze customer reviews, return data, and direct feedback to identify actionable product quality and customer satisfaction insights.
• Design, build, and maintain reports covering quality metrics, vendor performance, and product history.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the capture, visualization, and communication of quality data to senior leadership.
• Coordinate departmental operations, including budget tracking, invoicing, chargebacks, vendor documentation, factory approvals, business continuity records, meeting scheduling, and team recaps.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of related professional experience, including experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to work onsite in New York City 2-3 days per week, particularly during onboarding and cross-functional collaboration.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present synthesized data to senior leadership.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, organization, and administrative skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, resilient, and able to meet demanding retail deadlines.
