The Supervisor of Security is responsible for overseeing and managing security personnel and is responsible for the safety of medical center personnel, patients and visitors. Assumes primary responsibility for administrative functions within the department, including management of the security incident and activity tracking program, basic budgetary responsibility (salary and operational), and revenue stream management. Assumes operational management for shifts, as well as overall primary supervision for security department personnel.
Responds to security needs of medical center personnel.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
- Minimum of 3 years experience, of hospital security or law enforcement experience.
- Documented security supervisory training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills that may include but are not imited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Licenses and Certifications
Required:
- Valid Driver's License from a USA state.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Instructor Certification.
- CPR/First Aid Instructor.
