OUR RESIDENT MANAGER POSITIONThe primary focus of the Resident Manager position is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Revitz House Resident Manager's Office in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the property, ensuring efficient building operations and quality resident services.
- Manage Section 8 certification and recertification processes, including collecting required documentation, reviewing resident paperwork, completing certifications, obtaining signatures, and maintaining accurate program files.
- Conduct Section 8 file audits and ensure resident documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with program requirements.
- Prepare and maintain residential lease agreements, ensuring all required information, terms, and documentation are properly completed and executed.
- Implement and utilize Real Page/One Site property management software, including entering and maintaining resident, lease, payment, and property-related information.
- Process and record HOC voucher payments, ensuring payments are accurately entered and applied to resident accounts.
- Process resident check payments, prepare and record check deposits, and maintain accurate payment and financial records.
- Communicate with residents and their families regarding rent payments, account balances, payment arrangements, lease matters, and other housing-related concerns.
- Conduct collection calls and follow-up attempts regarding past-due balances, document collection efforts, and work with residents to address outstanding account issues.
- Maintain and update resident records, including contact information, certifications, leases, payment information, and other required documentation.
- Conduct routine and move-in/move-out apartment inspections to assess unit condition, identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate and oversee apartment turnovers, including scheduling vendors and contractors, monitoring repairs and cleaning, and preparing units for new residents.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to address maintenance, repairs, renovations, and other property-related needs.
- Monitor the progress and completion of vendor and contractor work to ensure services are completed appropriately and within established timelines.
- Assist with the overall management of building operations, including resident relations, administrative functions, maintenance coordination, financial activities, compliance requirements, and day-to-day property needs.
- Maintain organized and accurate property and resident documentation while ensuring timely completion of required administrative tasks.
- Provide ongoing support to residents, families, management, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective property operations and responsive customer service.

EDUCATION & TRAINING- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent; B.A. in Human Services from an accredited college or university preferred.
