The PositionCandidates should have experience working in a special education preschool classroom or resource room setting, with behavior modification experience. He/she should desire to work cooperatively with academic teachers within a team concept.
Qualifications Required- NJ Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities and P-3 certificate required.
- Demonstrated ability to work with special education students.
- Previous experience with preschool students preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status.

POSITION TITLE:
TEACHER
- New Jersey Instructional Certificate or eligibility.
- Teaching experience preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated knowledge in subject area.
- Familiarity with use of technology as instructional tool.

Reports To Principal
Job Goal(s)To provide instructional leadership in the classroom in accordance with the course of study approved by the Board of Education approved curriculum.
Primary ResponsibilitiesTo maintain effective relationships with teachers, students, parents, administrators, and appropriate community groups.
Terms of Employment10 Months. Salary as per SOMEA Agreement.
