Service Technician, North Bethesda, MD; Aurora & Wentworth Apts

Overview

Aurora & Wentworth Apts. (LCOR) is currently seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Community Management
• Ability to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Availability to assist in after‑hours emergency situations and night/weekend call duty
• Ability to work during inclement weather
• Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to Service Manager
• Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, freezing temperatures, snow removal, etc.
• Accompany vendors in occupied units for services, including pest control, property inspections, etc.
• Assist office staff with delivery of resident notices
• Perform plumbing repairs
• Repair/replace locks and smoke alarms
• Appliance repairs
• Electrical repairs
• Roofing inspection and minor roof repairs
• HVAC certification required
